In the past, GEV has collaborated with the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University, the Carnegie Science Center, the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquariums, the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, the National Aviary, and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.

One significant distribution and development partner is Duquesne University's Partnership in Education, a project funded primarily by a Science Education Partnership Award from the National Center for Research Resources, a component of the National Institutes of Health.
